How did you end up in insurance?
It happened completely by accident, almost 20 years ago, when someone I knew suggested me to apply for a role in the insurance industry. I still remember my very first interview, when my future manager said,
“Insurance is the kind of industry that pulls you in. Once you start working in it, you’ll probably stay forever.”
At the time, I probably smiled and thought, well, let’s see about that. But here we are, nearly 20 years later — and he was absolutely right. Somehow, insurance really does have that effect. And the best part is that after all this time, I still find it genuinely interesting.

What it’s like to work in Product Development?
Working in Product Development is very rewarding because no two days are exactly the same. It’s about listening, learning, and constantly looking for better ways to meet customer needs. I really enjoy that it brings together so many different perspectives — from customers and partners to colleagues across different teams — and turns ideas into something real and valuable.
What makes your work meaningful?
What makes my work meaningful is the feeling that what we do actually matters. Insurance is ultimately about giving people a sense of security and support, and being able to contribute to that is very motivating. I also find it really fulfilling to see how an idea can grow into a product or improvement that makes the customer experience simpler and better.
