This August, the entire Balcia Group – from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Poland – came together with one shared mission: boost mental health, balance, and energy.

Here in Lithuania, our calendar was bursting with activities that made wellbeing both exciting and easy to join in:

  • Mind & Body: A cacao ceremonial morning, early sound therapy sessions to start the day on the right note, and Hot Yoga & Pilates (yes, in +30-degree heat – like a sauna, but instead of relaxing, you’re bending knees and reaching for the ceiling).
  • Healthy Boosts: Fresh, healthy food deliveries and smoothie days. The bananas didn’t even have time to ripen.
  • Connection & Fun: From a Healthy Team Lunch at the office to a seaside Summer Event packed with sports for our active enthusiasts – and for those who prefer “stretching over sweating,” a morning of yoga followed by gong and singing bowl therapy, all with waves as our playlist.

A true highlight was finally welcoming Rūta Macikė – our healthy and energetic lifestyle ambassador – in person. She shared her insights on balancing work, sports, and family, along with her approach to longevity. And this time, we didn’t just double-tap her stories – we connected live, together as Balcians.

  • And the excitement didn’t stop there across the entire Balcia Group, we took wellness to the next level: Cleared our calendars for No-Meeting Thursdays, giving space for strategic work, learning, and catching up – with less stress and more focus as a result.
  • Launched Weekly Wellness Checklists with simple habits like drinking more water, taking mindful breaks, and sharing a non-work lunch with a colleague – proving that small steps can make a big difference.

And that’s really what Wellness Month was all about - not just yoga mats or cleared calendars, but moments shared and new habits built together. When we first take care of our own wellbeing, we show up at work with energy, focus and positivity – and that is what inspires colleagues around.

No matter how busy life gets, one thing remains constant – connection and community matter, not just in August, but all year round.
