Not everyone at Balcia starts the day at a desk in the office. For Malwina, our Key Account Manager, daily life looks very different – it’s about traveling, meetings, and building relationships in different corners of Poland.
Morning on the Road
The day usually starts early, with several agency visits lined up before noon. A thermos of coffee, her favorite playlist in the car, and a few dozen kilometers ahead – that’s a standard morning for a Key Account Manager.
Face-to-Face Meetings
The role of a Key Account Manager is to support agents, answer questions, present new products, and help solve everyday challenges.
“Being a Key Account Manager is a bit like being an ambassador for Balcia – I represent the company, but at the same time, I truly listen to what our partners need”
- says Malwina.
Each meeting is different – sometimes it’s training for the whole agency, other times a quiet coffee chat. But all of them have one thing in common: relationships. And those relationships, strengthened by closeness to clients and the time spent on the road, directly contribute to Balcia’s bigger goals – growing together, building trust, and supporting collaboration across our teams.
One of our partners put it this way:
“Working with Malwina truly makes a difference – we can always count on quick support and practical solutions. It’s not just a ‘check-in’ meeting but real help that makes our daily work easier.”
Challenges and Rewards
Of course, there are challenges. Poland is big, and the calendar is tight, so many days end late in the evening in a different city than they began. But the effort is balanced by the satisfaction of meaningful work.
“What I like the most is when I see that something I explained or advised actually makes someone’s everyday life easier. That gives me a sense of purpose,”
- Malwina shares.
A Day in Numbers
- 320 km driven on average
- 6 agency visits per day
- 3 cups of coffee to keep the energy flowing
- Countless conversations, insights, and shared ideas
Being a Key Account Manager at Balcia is demanding, but it’s also full of energy, people, places, and stories you won’t find in any office.
