As the "Guardian of Resolution," the Head of Claims leads the charge in ensuring seamless and fair solutions, turning setbacks into stepping stones

You will:

  • Build the claims department, setting strategic goals, objectives, and performance targets.
  • Develop and implement claims processes that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Build a robust partners network and foster cooperative relationships with external partners to drive mutual growth and innovation.
  • Foster a customer-centric mindset, ensuring that the claims process delivers outstanding customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance claims automation, digital solutions, and data analytics.
  • Monitor claims metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Drive innovation in claims handling, implementing new technologies and methodologies to streamline processes.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop claims staff, fostering a high-performing and motivated team.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, risk management, and legal teams to manage complex claims cases.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in claims management within the insurance industry
  • Strong knowledge of insurance regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire, motivate, and lead teams
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office
  • Fluent Estonian, excellent English language skills, both written and spoken
