Position

Ready to lead and innovate within the dynamic scope of the European insurtech market? We are seeking a visionary Claims Handling and Innovation Lead to manage our operations across the entire group. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about driving operational excellence and new tech solutions, compliance, and team leadership in the insurtech sector.

Get ready to:

  • Lead efforts to continuously improve claims handling processes at a Group level, including the planning, execution, and monitoring of cross-country projects.
  • Monitor and analyze data from digital channels to identify areas for improvement in the claims handling process.
  • Regularly review and update the digital claims process to incorporate user feedback and technological advancements.
  • Leverage new technologies and innovative solutions to ensure claims handling efficiency and user experience, including the identification and implementation of various automated solutions to minimize manual tasks and enhance accuracy.
  • Develop and implement a strategy for incorporating AI and machine learning into digital claims processing to predict and reduce claim processing times.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in digital claims handling and apply best practices to enhance the user experience.
  • Research and apply user experience practices in claims handling to ensure the best customer experience in the industry across our digital sales channels and beyond.
  • Ensure that the digital claims process is user-friendly, intuitive, and accessible across all digital platforms, including web and mobile.
  • Collaborate with the digital product team to enhance the functionality and user experience of the claims process in our mobile app.
  • Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging and implementing new ideas and approaches to improve claims handling.

About you:

  • You are proficient in claims management software, process automation tools, and data analysis techniques.
  • You possess strong leadership and project management skills with a proven ability to influence and drive change.
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
  • You exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
  • You're a strong and creative person, who is not afraid to think outside the box and introduce great (and unorthodox) ideas to the world.

To fit in here you’ll need:

  • Higher education in Business Administration, Insurance, Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in insurance claims management with a strong focus on process improvement and innovation, preferably in an insurtech environment.
  • Experience leading tech-driven cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Preferably, experience in mobile app projects with a strong focus on enhancing user experience.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Strong leadership, diplomatic, and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
  • Good knowledge of the English.
