Position

Be the expert to turn to in company’s accounting related questions as well as a bridge between insurance excellence and broker collaboration, ensuring seamless settlements that make a real impact.

Get ready to:

  • Prepare and provide timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with the law and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform any accounting operations within the Branch that are required for a correct and complete financial statement
  • Consult employees of the Branch regarding their accounting, tax calculation and payment or other issues, if they relate to the direct duties or subject of structural units.
  • Submit reports that are necessary in accordance with the legislation to country Branch supervisors.
  • If necessary, take part in working groups established by the company related to process optimization, introduction of new products, monitoring systems, or other activities.
  • Perform accounting of fixed assets in accordance with laws and regulations.
  • Work with the company’s business systems performing the necessary steps to pay policyholders, brokers, creditors and debtors.
  • Review and process settlement-related documentation, policy cancellations, policy changes, and questions regarding invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to verify policy details, coverage terms, claim information, and facilitate seamless interactions for brokers.
  • Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to settlements, cancellations, policy changes, and invoices, ensuring meticulous accuracy and adherence to company policies and industry regulations.

To fit in here you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in the insurance industry, with knowledge on settlements and broker interactions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with brokers and internal teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve discrepancies in settlements and issues in accounting matters
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office
  • Advanced knowledge of Estonian & English
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new policies, procedures, and technologies
  • Capability of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritizing work efficiently
  • Ability to work in an open-planned office with your colleagues
